Perpendicular through point
The Perpendicular through point function generates a perpendicular from a specified point to the intersection with a selected line.
Generate perpendicular: At intersection
- Under CAD > Line > Line, click the Perpendicular through point button.
- Select the line to whose intersection the perpendicular is to be generated.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Choose a point selection function.
- Select the point from which the perpendicular is to be generated.
- The perpendicular is generated.
- If you want to generate more perpendiculars, repeat steps 2 to 4.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended.
