Slotted hole
The Slotted hole function is used to generate an oblong hole.
Generate slotted hole
- Under CAD > Objects > Surface, click the Slotted hole button.
- The calculator opens. See also Calculator.
- Enter the placement angle and confirm your entry.
- Enter the width for the slotted hole and confirm your entry.
- Enter the height for the slotted hole and confirm your entry.
- Enter the diameter of the corner rounding and confirm your entry.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Choose a point selection function.
- Set the centre point for the slot position according to your chosen point selection function.
- The slotted hole is generated.
- If you want to generate more identical slotted holes, repeat steps 6 and 7.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended.
