Shorten line
The Shorten line function changes the length of the selected lines on both sides by the amount entered.
Change length of lines on both sides by amount specified
- Under CAD > Change > Change line, click the Shorten line button.
- The calculator opens. See also Calculator.
- Enter the amount by which the lines are to be shortened on both sides. Negative amounts extend the line.
- The Element selection submenu opens. See also Element selection (2) submenu.
- Choose a function and select the lines to be changed.
- Click Close.
- The length of the lines is changed.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
