Grid
The Grid function can be used as a construction aid to show or hide a line grid whose intersection points can be snapped.
Show grid
- Under CAD > Extras > Colours, click the Grid button.
- The CAD grid parameters dialogue box opens. See also: CAD grid parameters dialogue box.
- Select Yes for the Grid on (off) option.
- Configure your desired settings and click OK.
- If you have selected No for the Snap grid origin option, the origin of the grid will be set to the zero point of the CAD model and the function is closed.
- Otherwise, the Point selection submenu opens: See also: Point selection (1) submenu. Proceed to the next step.
- Select a function and specify accordingly the point where the grid should have its origin.
- The grid is displayed.
Hide grid
- Under CAD > Extras > Colours, click the Grid button.
- The CAD grid parameters dialogue box opens. See also: CAD grid parameters dialogue box.
- Select No for the Grid on (off) option.
- Click OK.
- The grid is hidden.
