With the Ignite function, ignition holes can be generated without subsequent laser processing.
Generate ignition holes
- Under Laser > Manual > Laser contour, click the Ignite button.
- The Change piercing type dialogue box opens. See also: Dialogue box with tables.
- Select your desired type of piercing.
- Click OK.
- The Current parameters dialogue box opens. See also: Current parameters dialogue box.
- Specify a tool diameter for which a corresponding tool is available.
- Click OK.
- The Change contour type dialogue box opens. See also: Dialogue box with tables.
- Select your desired contour type.
- Click OK.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also: Point selection (1) submenu.
- Select a function for point selection and enter corresponding points at which ignition holes are to be generated.
- Click on Close.
- The ignition holes are generated.
