Fly cutting
The Fly cutting function is used to sort and adjust laser processing of hole patterns so that fly cutting can be applied.
Elements that are aligned in the X or Y direction are overrun in one cutting line ( fly line) with the laser. The laser does not pierce each time, but is only activated or deactivated. Fly cutting is therefore only suitable for thin sheets in combination with a sufficiently powerful laser and a precise positioning system of the machine.
Prerequisites of the geometry:
- The hole pattern consists of rectangles or round holes
- The elements are aligned in the X or Y direction
NOTICE

Repeating the function
Before executing the function again and/or changing the parameters, the part should be re-machined using the Laser Auto function.
