Manage material data

The material is configured with the Manage material data function.

Set default values

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Default values option and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  • The function is ended and the changes are applied.

Change material

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Material number option and click OK.
  1. Select the material you want to change.
  1. Click Change.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  • The function is ended and the changes are applied.

Add material

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Material number option and click OK.
  1. Click Add.
  1. Select the material group to which the new material is to be added.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  • The function is ended and the changes are applied.

Delete material

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Material number option and click OK.
  1. Select the materials to be deleted.
  1. Click Delete.
  • The materials are deleted.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  • The function is ended and the changes are applied.

Change material group

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Material group option and click OK.
  1. Select the material group you want to change.
  1. Click Change.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  • If the material group number has been changed, it will be changed in all tables in the TECHNO_TABLE.TXT, TIME_HIT_COST.TXT and MATERIAL_CONFIG.TXT files.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  • The function is ended and the changes are applied.

Add material group

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Material group option and click OK.
  1. Click the Add button.
  • The next free number from the list of material groups is used as the number for the new material group.
  1. Enter a name for the new material group.
  1. Click OK.
  • The material group is created.
  • The material group is commented out (not active) and inserted into the MATERIAL_CONFIG.TXT file.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  • The function is ended and the changes are applied.

System settings

Since many system settings are based on the respective material groups, these must be adjusted accordingly for new material groups.

Copy material group

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Material group option and click OK.
  1. Select the material group to be copied.
  1. Click the Copy button.
  • The next free number from the list of material groups is used as the number for the new material group.
  1. Enter a name for the new material group.
  1. Click OK.
  • The material group is created.
  • The material group is inserted into all tables in the TECHNO_TABLE.TXT, TIME_HIT_COST.TXT and MATERIAL_CONFIG.TXT files.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click OK.
  • The function is ended and the changes are applied.
NOTICE
System settings

Since many system settings are based on the respective material groups, these must be adjusted accordingly for new material groups.

Delete material group

  1. Under Config > Extras > Manage material data, click the Manage material data button.
  1. Select the Material group option and click OK.
  1. Select the material groups to be deleted.
  1. Click Delete.
  • The material groups are deleted.
  • The material groups are deleted from all tables in the TECHNO_TABLE.TXT, TIME_HIT_COST.TXT and MATERIAL_CONFIG.TXT files.
  1. Click OK.
  1. Click OK.
