Mill point
The Mill point function can be used to generate a milling operation at a point.
Generate a milling operation at a point
- Under Milling > Manual > Mill point, click the Mill point button.
- The Tools dialogue box opens. See also Tools dialogue box.
- Select a tool category and click OK or use one of the tool selection buttons.
- The Tool management dialogue box opens. See also Dialogue box with tables.
- Select a tool and click OK.
- The calculator opens. See also Calculator.
- Enter the angle at which the tool is to be inserted and confirm your entry.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Select a function and, accordingly, specify a point at which the machining operation is to be generated.
- The machining operation is displayed.
- Repeat the last step if you want to generate further point machining operations.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
