Bending
The Bending function generates a bend along an existing line.
Generate bend processing
- The base area of the part is defined. See also Base face function.
- The planned bending line is available as a line.
- Under Manufacturer > Manufacturer > Salvagnini > Bending, click the Bending button.
- Use the left mouse button to select the line where the bend is to be generated.
- The line is highlighted in colour.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Select a function and define the side length by specifying a point at the end of the side.
- The Execution table dialogue box opens. See also Execution table dialogue box.
- Select the execution table whose deduction values will be used for bending and click OK.
- The Define bend values dialogue box opens. See also Define bending values dialogue box.
- Make your desired settings and click OK.
- If you want to generate further bending operations, repeat steps 2 to 5.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
