CLA bending
With the CLA bending function, 2 bending operations on a common line with the same bending angle and the same side length can be combined in one operation.
Combine two bending operations
- The base area of the part is defined. See also Base face function.
- The bending lines are on a common line.
- The bending angles and the side lengths are the same.
- Under Manufacturer > Manufacturer > Salvagnini > Bending, click the CLA bending button.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Select a function and enter one after the other:
- the starting point of the first bending line
- the end point of the first bending line
- the starting point of the second bending line
- the end point of the first bending line
- the side length of the bends, by selecting a point at the end of the side
- The Execution table dialogue box opens. See also Execution table dialogue box.
- Select the execution table whose deduction values will be used for bending and click OK.
- The Define bend values dialogue box opens. See also Define bending values dialogue box.
- Make your desired settings and click OK.
- If you want to combine further bending operations, repeat steps 2 to 4.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
