1 line
TASK
Definition of a separation cut via 1 line.
EXECUTION
- Selecting a line where the separation cut is to be made.
- Specification of the protrusion width via indexing or input via keyboard.
- Automatic system check of the dimensions.
- Selecting on which side of the line the tool should be inserted.
- Select the tool by entering its dimensions in the popup. If the system does not find a punch with the entered dimensions, one can be selected from the tool list.
- Automatic display of the tool insert.
NOTE
A separation cut is basically a window with 3 degrees of freedom.
After selecting the machining line, the user indexes the protrusion dimensions or enters them via keyboard. When indexing the protrusion dimensions, make sure that the direction of subsequent tool use is based on the order in which the points are indexed.
The system enters the window as a new NC data set at the end of the SOURCE with the following parameters:
Position
Reference point bottom left
Angle
Angular position of the window
Width
Width of the cutout
Protrusion
Dimension by which the MAY surface exceeds the MUST surface in the respective direction.
