Copy
The Copy function is used to generate X or Y direction copies of selected parts. Multiple copies can be made automatically up to the edge of the sheet or until the required number of pieces is reached.

Copy parts in a nesting
- You are in the Change sheet menu.
- There is enough free space around the parts in the X or Y direction to place copies.
- Under Change sheet > Change > Copy, click the Copy button.
- The Element selection submenu opens. See also Element selection (1) submenu.
- Choose a function to select the parts.
- Select the desired parts.
- Click Close.
- A dashed outline indicates where the copies can be automatically placed.
- If the free space around the parts was not sufficient, they are copied and the Transform submenu opens. See also Transform submenu. Move the part and proceed to step 6).
- Choose one of the following options to make copies:
- Left mouse button: Clicking on a preview creates a copy there. Further previews are displayed until the required quantity is reached.
- Middle mouse button: Clicking on a preview creates copies in this direction until the required number of pieces or the sheet edge is reached.
- X or Y key: Produces copies in the X or Y direction until the required number of pieces or the edge of the sheet is reached.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
