Transform submenu

Parameters

The Parameters function displays the following parameters for the selected parts in the Move parameters dialogue box and allows them to be changed: Minimum distance, angle of rotation, free rotation from 180 degrees. The settings here only apply until the calling function is ended. See also Move parameters dialogue box.

Mirror

The Mirror function is used to mirror selected parts in the Y direction.

Rotate

The Rotate function rotates selected parts counter-clockwise by the angle specified in the Move parameters dialogue box. See also the Parameters function in the submenu Transform (Transform submenu).

The pivot point is the centre of the hull rectangle around all selected parts. Negative values for the rotation angle result in a clockwise rotation.

Freely rotate

The Freely rotate function can be used to rotate selected parts at any angle. To do this, hold down the middle mouse button while controlling the rotation of the part with a circular movement of the mouse.

Move in X

With the Move in X function, the selected parts are moved in the X direction by entering the shift value via the Calculator. See also Calculator.

Move in Y

The Move in Y function moves the selected parts in the Y direction by entering the shift value in the Calculator. See also Calculator.

Point-to-point

The Point-to-point function is used to specify a shift vector over the start point and end point. The selected parts are moved around this vector. See also Point selection (1) submenu.

Cancel

The Cancel function cancels the action and does not save it.

Close

The Close function terminates and saves the action.
