Set release strokes
With the Set release strokes function, an individual stroke is placed centrally on each side of an individual part, which is ultimately punched. The individual strokes are used like microjoints that hold the part in a nesting until all the machining operations are punched. Finally, the individual strokes are discontinued, the part is exposed and can be disposed of.
The release stroke can only be set on a straight line. If the length of the straight line is too short to perform strokes other than the release stroke, the complete straight line is machined with the release stroke tool.
If a side cannot be processed, the rotation marker of the part is set to 1. The part can no longer be turned on the sheet, as the unmachined side may be at the bottom when it is turned and the part can no longer be disposed of.
