Scale factor
The Scale factor function scales selected elements by entering a factor. The reference point for scaling can be freely determined.
Scale elements with factor
- Under CAD > Change > Stretch, click the Scale factor button.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Select a point selection function and set the reference point for scaling.
- The calculator opens. See also Calculator.
- Enter the scaling factor and confirm your entry.
- The Element selection submenu opens. See also Element selection (2) submenu.
- Choose a function and select the elements to be scaled.
- Click Close.
- The elements are scaled.
- If you want to change the scaling step by step: Click with the left mouse button to increase the scale or with the middle mouse button to decrease the scale.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
