Rotate
The Rotate function rotates the selected elements around a common, freely selectable pivot point with a freely selectable rotation angle.
Rotate elements around a common pivot point
- Under CAD > Change, click the Rotate button.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Select a function and enter a point as the pivot point.
- The point is highlighted in colour.
- The calculator opens. See also Calculator.
- Specify the angle of rotation. Positive values result in counter-clockwise rotation, negative values in the opposite direction.
- The Element selection submenu opens. See also Element selection (2) submenu.
- Choose a function and select the elements to be rotated accordingly.
- The elements are highlighted in colour.
- Click Close.
- The elements are rotated accordingly.
