Special shape/macro
The Special shape / macro function is used to create the geometry of a special tool or a macro at the position of a special shape / macro text.
Generate geometry at text position
- You have opened a CAD or NC model
- It contains texts with a reference to a special tool or macro.
- The tool or macro is available for the machine.
- Under Extras > Part calculation > Geometry, click the Special shape / macro button.
- The Special shape / macro texts dialogue box opens. See also: _SO_/_MA_ texts dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click OK.
- The corresponding geometries are generated at the text passages.
